About Nicolette Figliozzi

Nicolette is a recent Law School graduate working as a law clerk with the Law Offices of John A. Kornfeld, LLP, and will be working as an associate attorney once admitted to the Bar. Originally from Staten Island, she earned her bachelor's degree in Pre-Law from St. John’s University in 2022. She went on to graduate cum laude from New York Law School in 2026. During law school, she served as an Executive Board Member of the Moot Court Association and competed in appellate advocacy competitions against other law schools across the Northeast. In March 2026, she competed in Domenick L. Gabrielli Family Law Moot Court Competition in Albany, NY, where she developed an interest in family and matrimonial litigation. 

Throughout law school, Nicolette gained experience in both the public and private sectors. She completed a full-time honors externship in Washington, D.C., where she worked with the Consumer Bankers Association and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She also externed with Shulman & Hill, where she assisted with civil rights matters. Through these opportunities, Nicolette built strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills, which she brings to her practice in providing clients with thoughtful and diligent representation during what can be a challenging time in their lives.
